Moulins ( Breton : Melined ; Gallo : Móleins ) is a French municipality with 716 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany . It belongs to the Arrondissement Fougères-Vitré , the canton La Guerche-de-Bretagne and the community association Vitré Communauté . The inhabitants are called Moulinois .
geography
Moulins is located about 50 kilometers southeast of Rennes in eastern Brittany on the Quincampoix River . Moulins is surrounded by the neighboring communities
- Bais in the east,
- Marcillé-Robert in the south,
- Boistrudan in the southwest,
- Piré-Chancé with Chancé in the north and Piré-sur-Seiche in the west.
