Saint-Marse church

Bais ( Breton : Baez ; Gallo : BAES is a) French municipality with 2,419 inhabitants (1 January 2017) in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany . It belongs to the Arrondissement Fougères-Vitré , the canton La Guerche-de-Bretagne and the community association Vitré Communauté . The inhabitants are called Baiséens .

geography

Bais is located about 50 kilometers southeast of Rennes in eastern Brittany. Bais is surrounded by the neighboring communities Louvigné-de-Bais in the north and northwest, Torcé in the north, Vergéal in the northeast, Domalain in the east, Visseiche in the south, Marcillé-Robert in the southwest, Moulins in the west and Piré-Chancé with Chancé in the west and Northwest.
