Saint-Christophe-de-Valains ( Breton : Sant-Kristol-Gwalen ) is a French municipality with 225 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany .

The municipality is located about 37 kilometers northeast of Rennes and 35 kilometers south of Mont Saint-Michel on the banks of the Minette River .
