The canton Fougères-1 (Breton canton Felger-1 ) is a French constituency in the arrondissements of Fougères-Vitré and Rennes , in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine and in the region of Brittany ; its main town is Fougères .

The canton was created in 2015 with the reorganization of the cantons in France. The communes used to belong to the cantons of Saint-Aubin-du-Cormier (all 10 communes), Fougères-Sud (all 8 communes + parts of Fougères) and Liffré (1 commune; Livré-sur-Changeon).

In the first ballot on March 22, 2015, none of the four voting pairs achieved an absolute majority. In the runoff election on March 29, 2015, the team Thierry Benoit (UDI) / Frédérique Miramont (DVD) against Olivier Barbette / (both DVG ) won with a share of the vote of 64.61% (turnout: 49.74%).
