The canton of Cesson-Sévigné was a French canton in the Arrondissement Rennes , in the Département Ille-et-Vilaine and in the region of Brittany until 2015 ; its main town was Cesson-Sévigné .

history

The canton was created in 1991 from parts of the previous canton of Rennes-VI. From 1991 to 2015, two municipalities belonged to the canton of Cesson-Sévigné. With the reorganization of the cantons in France, the canton was dissolved in 2015 and the communes moved to other cantons.

The canton of Cesson-Sévigné was located in the center of the Ille-et-Vilaine department northeast of Rennes.
