The canton Combourg (Breton canton Komborn ) is a French constituency in the arrondissement Saint-Malo , in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine and in the region of Brittany ; its main town is Combourg .
history
The canton was established on February 15, 1790. From 1801 to 2015, ten parishes belonged to the canton of Combourg. With the reorganization of the cantons in France, the number of communes rose to 26. In addition to the previous communes of the old canton Combourg, there were all 10 communes of the canton Tinténiac , 3 of the 10 communes of the canton Bécherel and 3 of the previous 10 communes of the canton Hédé -Bazouges added.

In the first ballot on March 22, 2015, none of the five voting pairs achieved an absolute majority. In the runoff election on March 29, 2015, the team Béatrice Duguépéroux-Honoré / André Lefeuvre (both DVG) won against David Buisset / Yolande Giroux (both DVD ) with a share of the vote of 55.61% (turnout: 53.47%).
