Saint-Domineuc ( Breton : Landoveneg ) is a French municipality with 2532 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Malo and the canton of Combourg (until 2015: canton of Tinténiac ). The inhabitants are called Docmaëliens .

geography

Saint-Domineuc is located about 35 kilometers north-northwest of Rennes . The town lies on the ship channel Canal d'Ille-et-Rance . The Linon partially limits the community to the north. Saint-Domineuc is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pleugueneuc in the north and northwest, La Chapelle-aux-Filtzméens in the northeast, Québriac in the east, Tinténiac in the south and southeast, Trimer in the southwest and Trévérien in the west.

The national route 137 runs through the municipality .
