Le Minihic-sur-Rance ( Breton : Minic'hi-Poudour ) is a French municipality with 1449 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany . Le Minihic-sur-Rance belongs to the Arrondissement of Saint-Malo and the Canton of Saint-Malo-2 (until 2015: Canton of Dinard ). The inhabitants are called minihicois .
geography
Le Minihic-sur-Rance is located on the western side of the Rance estuary on the Emerald Coast , about eight kilometers south of Saint-Malo . Le Minihic-sur-Rance is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pleurtuit in the west and Langrolay-sur-Rance in the south and on the other side of the estuary Saint-Jouan-des-Guérets in the northeast and Saint-Suliac in the southeast.
