La Ville-ès-Nonais ( Breton : Kerlean , Gallo : La Vill-ez-Nonaèn ) is a French municipality with 1203 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany . It belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Malo and the canton of Dol-de-Bretagne (until 2015: canton of Châteauneuf-d'Ille-et-Vilaine ). The inhabitants are called Nonaisiens .
geography
La Ville-ès-Nonais is located about twelve kilometers south-southeast of Saint-Malo on the Rance estuary . La Ville-ès-Nonais is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Suliac in the north, Saint-Père-Marc-en-Poulet in the northeast, Châteauneuf-d'Ille-et-Vilaine in the east, Pleudihen-sur-Rance in the south and southeast , Plouër-sur-Rance in the west and south-west and Langrolay-sur-Rance in the north-west.
