Pleugueneuc ( Breton : Plegeneg ; Gallo : Ploegenoec ) is a French community in Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany . The municipality has 1,903 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) and belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Malo and the canton of Combourg (until 2015: canton Tinténiac ). The inhabitants are called Pleugueneucois .

geography

Pleugueneuc is about 36 kilometers north-northwest of Rennes . Pleugueneuc is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Mesnil-Roc'h in the north, Meillac in the east, La Chapelle-aux-Filtzméens in the southeast, Saint-Domineuc in the south and southeast, Trévérien in the south and southwest and Plesder in the west.

The former route nationale 137 (today's D137) runs through the municipality .
