Meillac ( Breton : Melieg ; Gallo : Melhac ) is a French community in Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany . The municipality has 1,848 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) and belongs to the Arrondissement of Saint-Malo and the canton of Combourg . The inhabitants are called Meillacois .

geography

Meillac is located about 30 kilometers south-southeast of Saint-Malo . Meillac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Mesnil-Roc'h in the north and northwest, Bonnemain in the northeast, Combourg in the east, La Chapelle-aux-Filtzméens in the south, and Pleugueneuc in the west.
