Bonnemain ( Breton : Bonmaen ; Gallo : Bonemein ) is a French community in Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany . The municipality has 1,566 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) and belongs to the Arrondissement of Saint-Malo and the canton of Combourg . The inhabitants are called Bonnemainésiens .

geography

Bonnemain is about 30 kilometers south-southeast of Saint-Malo . Bonnemain is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Baguer-Morvan in the north, Epiniac in the east and northeast, Trémeheuc in the southeast, Lourmais in the south and southeast, Combourg and Meillac in the south, Mesnil-Roc'h in the south and southwest, and Le Tronchet in the west and Northwest. The place has a train station on the Rennes – Saint-Malo railway line .
