La Baussaine (in Gallo "La Bauczaènn", in Breton "Baosan") is a municipality in Brittany in France . It belongs to the department of Ille-et-Vilaine , the arrondissement Saint-Malo and the canton Combourg (until 2015 canton Tinténiac ). It is bordered by Saint-Thual to the northwest , Trimer to the north, Tinténiac to the northeast, Les Iffs to the southeast, Cardroc to the south, Miniac-sous-Bécherel to the southwest and Longaulnay to the west . The settlement area is on average 83 meters above sea level.
