Saint-Briac-sur-Mer ( Breton : Sant-Briag ; Gallo : Saent-Beriac ) is a French municipality with 2070 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany . Saint-Briac-sur-Mer belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Malo and the canton of Saint-Malo-2 (until 2015: canton of Dinard ). The inhabitants are called Briacins .

geography

Saint-Briac-sur-Mer is located on the western side of the Frémur estuary on the emerald coast of the Gulf of Saint-Malo , about seven kilometers west of Saint-Malo . Saint-Briac-sur-Mer is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Lunaire in the east, Pleurtuit in the south and south-east, Ploubalay in the south-west and Lancieux in the west and south-west.
