Saint-Guinoux ( Breton : Sant-Gwênoù ) is a French municipality with 1210 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Malo and the canton of Dol-de-Bretagne (until 2015: canton of Châteauneuf-d'Ille-et-Vilaine ). The inhabitants are called Guinoléens .

geography

Saint-Guinoux is located about 13 kilometers southeast of Saint-Malo on the Canal des Allemands . Saint-Guinoux is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Gouesnière in the north, La Fresnais in the northeast, Lillemer in the east and southeast, Plerguer in the south and southeast, Miniac-Morvan in the south and southwest and Saint-Père-Marc-en-Poulet in the west.
