Saint-Lunaire ( Breton : Sant-Luner ) is a French municipality with 2356 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany . Saint-Lunaire belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Malo and the canton of Saint-Malo-2 (until 2015: canton of Dinard ). The inhabitants are called Lunairien (ne) s in French .
geography
Saint-Lunaire is located on the Emerald Coast about seven kilometers west of Saint-Malo . Saint-Lunaire is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Dinard in the east, Pleurtuit in the south and Saint-Briac-sur-Mer in the west.
The former Route nationale 786 runs through the municipality .
