The Route nationale 786 , or N 786 or RN 786 for short , was a French national road that ran in three sections between Dinard and Morlaix from 1933 to 1973 . It largely followed the course of the coast. Their total length was 184.5 kilometers. Before 1933 the street in the Finistère department was Chemin de Grande Communication (Gc) 64.

It did not take the direct route, but ran to Perros-Guirec and then largely followed the coastline of the English Channel . Their length was 29 kilometers.
