The Route nationale 815 , or N 815 or RN 815 for short , was a French national road .
The road ran from Caen to Saint-Maclou from 1933 to 1973 . In 1978 it was completely integrated into the new route of National Road 175 . In 2006 the route of the N 815 was then graded. Its total length was 63.5 kilometers.

The Route nationale 815 A , or N 815 A or RN 815 A for short , was a French national road and at the same time a branch of the national road 815.
The side branch was established in 1959. The national road branched off from the N 815 near Boulleville and led to the national road 810 at the southern end of the newly opened Pont de Tancarville .
In 1978 the national road was rededicated to the N 178 and finally downgraded to Département-Straße in 2006 . Their total length was 14 kilometers.
