The Route nationale 849 , N 849 or RN 849 for short , was a French national road on Corsica , which from 1933 branched off the N 193 northeast of Ajaccio and led to Guagno-les-Bains. In 1949 it was led from Vico via the route of its side branch N849 A to the Col de Saint-Antoine. In 1973 the 49.5 kilometer long road was graded.

The N849 A was a side branch of the N 849, which branched off from it in Vico in 1933 and led to the N 195 at Col de Saint-Antoine. 1949 849 assumed the N and in turn its leading the portion of the N 849 of Vico according Guagno-les-Bains was the N 849 A assigned. Their length was then 11 kilometers. In 1973 the road was graded.
