The Route nationale 701 , or N 701 or RN 701 for short , was a French national road that ran between Rochechouart and Brive-la-Gaillarde from 1933 to 1973 . Their length was 122.5 kilometers. In 2006 the number was used again briefly for the graded Autoroute A701 , a short motorway in the north of Orléans . Today it bears the number D 2701.
