The Route nationale 794 , or N 794 or RN 794 for short , was a French national road .

The road existed from 1933 to 1973 and during this time ran in two sections between Vitré and Plancoët .

In 1973 it was downgraded from the status of a national road to a département road and signposted as D 794. Another section of the D 794 is located between the D 768 west of Plancoët and Matignon. This road is the former national road 786 A on the section leading north to the intersection with the D 17 .

The total length of the national road 794 was 92.5 kilometers.
