Pégomas is a French commune in the Alpes-Maritimes department with 7,972 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017).
geography
Pégomas is located in the Siagne Valley a few kilometers northwest of Cannes on the D9 to Grasse .
The neighboring municipalities of Pégonas are the city of Grasse in the north, Mouans-Sartoux in the northeast, La Roquette-sur-Siagne in the southeast, Mandelieu-la-Napoule in the south, Tanneron in the west and Auribeau-sur-Siagne in the northwest.

Pégomas is located on the Mimosa Street , also called Mimosa Street (French: La Route du Mimosa ; English: Golden Route ). It is a 130 km tourist route that runs along the Côte d'Azur from Bormes-les-Mimosas to Rayol-Canadel-sur-Mer , Sainte-Maxime , Saint-Raphaël , Mandelieu-la-Napoule , Tanneron and Pégomas leads to Grasse . From January to mid-March, the yellow acacia plants , which originally came from Australia , are in bloom.
