Cabris is a French commune in the Alpes-Maritimes in the region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Grasse and the canton of Grasse-1 .
geography
Cabris is served by bus lines operated by the concessionaire Sillages . The village is 48 kilometers from Nice , 30 kilometers from Cannes and seven kilometers from Grasse . The neighboring municipalities are Saint-Vallier-de-Thiey in the north, Grasse in the east, Peymeinade in the south and Spéracèdes in the west.
history
In 1868 Peymeinade was separated from Cabris and an independent community was formed from it.

The result: " The raft on the wall " from 1969 of the German TV series: " Graf Yoster does the honor " is set in Cabris. In this episode, an underground missile control station is to be built in caves in the area of Cabris.
