The Route nationale 778 , or N 778 or RN 778 for short , was a French national road .

The road existed from 1933 to 1973 and ran in three sections between Saint-Brieuc and Meucon . From 1948 to 1973 it had a branch within Saint-Brieuc that led to the port of Le Légué . At that time signposted as N 778 A , the street is now number D 779.
