The Route nationale 801 , RN 801 or N 801 was a French national road that ran between Barfleur and the Cap de la Hague from 1933 to 1973 .

Their total length was 50.5 kilometers. It had two branches within Cherbourg-Octeville that opened up the port. These, as well as part of their own route, go back to side branches of the N13 that were not numbered in 1858. Both have been municipal roads since 1971. In 2001 the Autoroute A801 , which ran as an extension of the Autoroute A83 (former A801) from the Boulevard périphérique de Nantes to the southern bridgehead of a road bridge in Loire , was downgraded to the N 801. This street was downgraded to a municipal street in 2006.
