Plancoët ( Breton : Plangoed ; Gallo : Plancoé ) is a French commune with 3,013 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Côtes-d'Armor department in the Brittany region . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Dinan and is the main town ( chef-lieu ) of the canton of Plancoët . The inhabitants are called Plancoëtin .
geography
Plancoët is located on the Arguenon River near the Emerald Coast . Plancoët is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Lormel in the north, Créhen in the east and northeast, Corseul in the south and southeast, Bourseul in the southwest and Pluduno in the west.
The municipality's train station is on the Lison – Lamballe railway line . The former Routes nationales 168 , 792 and 794 run through the municipality .
