Location of the association of municipalities in the Brittany region

Dinan Agglomération is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté d'agglomération in the department of Côtes-d'Armor in the region of Brittany . It was founded on November 25, 2016 and comprises 64 parishes. The administrative headquarters are in the city of Dinan .

founding

As the successor organization of the municipal associations Dinan Communauté , Pays de Caulnes , Plancoët-Plélan , Pays de Matignon (7 of the 9 municipalities), Pays de Du Guesclin (3 of the 9 municipalities) and Rance-Frémur (3 of the 4 municipalities), it came into being with effect from January 1, 2017.

Historical development

With effect from 1 January 2018, the community was Léhon according Dinan incorporated. This reduced the number of member communities from 65 to 64.
