The Communauté de communes du Pays de Matignon is a former French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Département Côtes-d'Armor , whose administrative seat was in the town of Matignon . Its catchment area was in the northeast of the department. The community association founded on December 26, 1996 consisted of nine communities, the president of the community association was most recently Arnaud Lecuyer.
Tasks of the community association
Since the majority of the municipalities were very small and had mayors (maires) as a secondary office, the communauté was responsible for various tasks of the municipalities involved. There were several commissions (e.g. for environmental protection, sport, economic development, etc.) which were active across the congregation.
Historical development
With effect from January 1, 2017, the municipal association was dissolved and its member municipalities were divided into the municipal associations Dinan Agglomération and Communauté de communes Lamballe Terre et Mer .
