Saint-Pôtan ( Breton Sant-Postan ) is a French municipality with 807 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Côtes-d'Armor , in the region of Brittany . It belongs to the arrondissement of Dinan and the canton of Pléneuf-Val-André (until 2015: canton of Matignon ). The inhabitants are called Pôtanais .

geography

Saint-Pôtan is located about 30 kilometers northwest of Dinan and is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Matignon in the north, Saint-Cast-le-Guildo in the northeast, Saint-Lormel in the east, Pluduno in the south and east, Landébia in the southwest, Hénanbihen in the west and Southwest, Ruca in the west and Pléboulle in the northwest. The Guébriand flows along the eastern edge of the municipality .
