The Guébriand is a coastal river in France that runs in the Côtes-d'Armor department in the Brittany region . It rises in the Forêt de la Hunaudaya forest , in the municipality of Plédéliac , generally drains in a north-easterly direction and flows into the English Channel after 20 kilometers at the municipal boundary of Saint-Cast-le-Guildo and Saint-Lormel in the Baie de l'Arguenon . For the last 600 meters it is already influenced by the tides . Immediately at the mouth of the river, the Arguenon comes from the right ; according to official information, however, the Guébriand is not a tributary of the Arguenon, but rather an independent coastal river.
