Plouasne ( Breton : Plouan ) is a French municipality with 1,714 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Côtes-d'Armor , in the region of Brittany . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Dinan and the canton of Lanvallay (until 2015: canton of Évran ). The inhabitants are called Plouasnais .
geography
Plouasne is about twelve kilometers south-southeast of Dinan . The river Néal flows into the Rance at the western boundary of the municipality . Plouasne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Tréfumel and Le Quiou in the north, Évran in the north and north-east, Saint-Judoce in the north-east, Saint-Thual in the east and north-east, Longaulnay in the east, Saint-Pern in the south, Médréac in the south-west, Guitté in the west , Guenroc in the west and north-west and Saint-Maden in the north-west.
