The canton of Lanvallay (Breton: Lanvalae ) is a French canton in the arrondissement of Dinan , in the department of Côtes-d'Armor and in the region of Brittany ; its main town is Lanvallay .
history
The canton was created with the reorganization of the cantons in France in 2015. The communes formerly belonged to the cantons of Évran (8 communes), Dinan-Ouest (6 communes) and Dinan-Est (3 communes).

In the first ballot on March 22, 2015, none of the four voting pairs achieved an absolute majority. In the runoff election on March 29, 2015, Michel Daugan (Union de la droite) / Véronique Meheust (UMP) won against Martine Bugeaud / Jean-Louis Nogues (both DVG ) with a share of the vote of 50.35% (turnout: 57, 81%).
