The Canton Plélo (Breton Canton Pleuloc'h ) is a French canton in the arrondissement Guingamp and Saint-Brieuc , in Côtes-d'Armor , in the region of Brittany ; its main town is Plélo .
history
The canton was created with the reorganization of the cantons in France in 2015. The communes previously belonged to the cantons of Quintin (8 communes), Châtelaudren (6 communes), Plouagat (5 communes), Plœuc-sur-Lié and Ploufragan (2 communes each ).

In the first ballot on March 22, 2015, none of the three voting pairs achieved an absolute majority. In the runoff election on March 29, 2015, the pairing Françoise Golhen / Yves-Jean Le Coqû (both Union de la droite) won against Valérie Berthier-Levif / Denis Follet (both PS ) with a share of the vote of 57.31% (turnout: 55 , 19%).
