Châtelaudren ( Breton : Kastellaodren ) is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community Châtelaudren-Plouagat with 1,001 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Côtes-d'Armor in the region of Brittany .

The municipality of Châtelaudren was merged with Plouagat to form the Commune nouvelle Châtelaudren-Plouagat with effect from January 1, 2019 . It belonged to the arrondissement of Guingamp and the canton of Plélo .

geography

Châtelaudren is about 15 kilometers from the sea coast. Châtelaudren is surrounded by the municipality of Plélo in the northeast and Plouvara in the southeast.

Attractions

The Notre-Dame du Tertre church, dating from the 15th to 17th centuries, has been classified as a Monument historique since 1907 .
