Regensburg Writers' Group International
The Regensburg Writers' Group "International" (RSGI; previously Regensburger Writers' Group - RSG ) is a writers' association of predominantly German-speaking authors founded in 1910 and based in Regensburg .
Act
The organization exists as a recognized non-profit and registered association (eV) and is supposedly the oldest in its form in the German-speaking area . The association regularly organizes international literary days, international literary encounters, jubilee poet parties, discussion events, lectures and readings by the young authors' group. The association regularly organizes an international competition for young authors (JAW), which was won by Axel Schlote in 1994 and Sabina Naef in 1998 . The RSGI deposit, as well as an extensive collection on the history of the group of writers and documentation on the young authors' competition is kept in the Regensburg State Library .
membership
Members generally include “full members” (professional and part-time authors who can present publications in the form of books or in magazines or newspapers), “young authors group” (authors aged up to and including 25 who are actively literary and sometimes already Publications) and the “Freundskreis” (sponsors (partly literarily active)) and candidate members.
