Rosemarie Schulak

Rosemarie Schulak (* 1933 in Poysdorf ) is an Austrian writer.

Life

Rosemarie Schulak attended the elementary school in Poysdorf in the Weinviertel and the secondary school in Laa an der Thaya and the teacher training college in Vienna. From 1952 she taught as a teacher and also studied pedagogy and art history at the University of Vienna and received her doctorate. phil. From 1983 to 1989 she taught at the educational institution for kindergarten teachers in Pressbaum.

From 1950 onwards, Rosemarie Schulak published poems in the magazine Neue Wege and in local papers. Her poetry has been translated into numerous languages ​​(14 languages ​​in 2006). Schulak received several haiku awards.

Schulak is a member of the Austrian PEN Club and Lower Austrian PEN Club, a member of the Austrian Writers 'Association , a member of the Regensburg Writers ' Group International and a member of Heiku groups. Schulak was the organizer of readings in the Amerlinghaus in Vienna.
