Peter Coryllis

Peter Coryllis ( pseudonym for Walter Auerbach , other pseudonyms: A. Biszet , Gundram Bork , Hans Jörg Cordell , Paoe Komara , Manfred Korinth , Hein Tiller ; * July 19, 1909 in Hainichen , Saxony ; † July 10, 1997 in Sögel , Emsland ) was a German writer .

Life

Peter Coryllis was the son of a manager . He attended the higher commercial school , then completed a commercial training and was then a volunteer at a daily newspaper . He made extensive trips, including to West Africa and the Middle East . During the Third Reich he was repeatedly arrested and because of military morale to death sentenced ; he spent a total of five years in concentration camps .

After the end of the Second World War , Peter Coryllis worked as an economic and tax advisor. Since 1952 he lived in Dülmen / Westphalia , where since 1958 he was the center of the “ Circle of Friends ”, which supported him in the publication of his literary works. In 1983 Coryllis moved to Walchum in the Emsland region , where he lived until his death.

Peter Coryllis' literary work includes narrative works , essays , aphorisms , poems and dramas . In addition, he published a number of lyrical series as well as volumes of poetry by friendly authors and anthologies .

Peter Coryllis was a member of the " Interest Group for German-Speaking Authors ", the Malkasten Artists 'Association in Düsseldorf , the Regensburg International Writers' Group , the " Innsbruck Society of Lyric Friends " and the Innsbruck " Turmbund ". In 1973 he received the 1st prize at the literary competition of the Malkastens and in 1989 the Graphikum literature prize .
