Oberpfälzer Kulturbund
The Oberpfälzer Kulturbund is a registered association based in Regensburg . It is the umbrella organization for all clubs and associations in the Upper Palatinate that focus on culture and homeland care. Its aim is to preserve and maintain Upper Palatinate culture.
The Oberpfälzer Kulturbund was created in 1969 through the merger of the Oberpfälzische Arbeitsgemeinschaft Bayerischer Nordgau and the Oberpfälzer Heimatbund . In addition to cultural events such as concerts and exhibitions, it also regularly organizes the Nordgau Days . Since 1982 he has been awarding the Nordgau Prize of the Oberpfälzer Kulturbund as part of the Nordgautage .
