Max Zaha

Max Zaha (born October 25, 1913 in Munich ; † 1997 ) was a German administrative lawyer , government vice-president of the Upper Palatinate and president of the Upper Palatinate Cultural Association .

Life

Zaha, son of a factory owner of the same name, studied in Munich, Berlin and Innsbruck. In 1939 he received his doctorate from the Faculty of Law and Political Science at the University of Innsbruck . Until 1968 he worked as a senior administrative judge at the Bavarian Administrative Court in Munich and then moved to the government of the Upper Palatinate.

From 1978 to 1984 he was President of the Oberpfälzer Kulturbund and was later an honorary member. In this function, he was also responsible for the management of the Nordgau Day and the editing of various publications by the association.

He was married to Elfi Zaha, nee Chormann.
