Alfons Metzger

Alfons Metzger (born June 21, 1939 in Munich ) is a German administrative lawyer.

Life

Metzger began his career in internal administration after studying law. He worked for the CSU state group in Bonn and in the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior . In 1994 he became regional president of the Upper Palatinate . From June 1, 1999 to June 30, 2004 he was President of the Bavarian Supreme Audit Office . Since 1960 he has been a member of the Catholic student association KDStV Rheno-Franconia Munich. He was also President of the Upper Palatinate Cultural Association from 1999 to 2006 , and is now an honorary member there.
