Konrad Heinrich von Dörnberg

Konrad Heinrich Freiherr von Dörnberg (born August 24, 1769 in Breitenbach am Herzberg , † November 25, 1828 in Regensburg ) was a Bavarian government president of the Upper Palatinate .

Life

Konrad Heinrich came from the Protestant Hessian noble family of the Dörnberg . He was the son of Pandolphus Ferdinand Freiherr von Dörnberg , Prussian Minister of Justice under Frederick the Great , and of Dorothea von und zu Löwenstein. After studying law in Göttingen, Konrad Heinrich was chamber assessor in Hamm and, from 1796, royal Prussian vice-president and director of the domain chamber in Ansbach . After 1810 he worked for the Kingdom of Bavaria as treasurer, secret councilor and state councilor and was general commissioner in Ansbach ( district president ). In 1817 he was transferred to Regensburg, the capital of the Bavarian rain district , as general commissioner .

Konrad Heinrich was married to Freiin Wilhelmine Sophie von Glauburg (1775-1835) from 1794. Their daughter Wilhelmine , called "Mimi" (1803–1835), married Prince Maximilian Karl von Thurn und Taxis in 1828 . The son Ernst Friedrich von Dörnberg (1801–1878) became head of the Thurn & Taxis general administration. He was raised to the rank of count in 1865.
