Heinrich von Mosch

Martin Georg Erich Heinrich von Mosch (born October 31, 1930 in Lübben ; † October 20, 2014 in Rottach-Egern ) was a German government official .

Career

Heinrich von Mosch came from the noble family of Mosch and was the son of the state estate and later state syndic of Niederlausitz Erich Rudolf von Mosch (born November 4, 1879 in Berlin ; † April 26, 1945 in Lübben) and his wife Margarethe, née. von Mihlendorff Freiin von Manteuffel (born April 22, 1887 in Münster in Westphalia , † June 8, 1975 in Munich ). After the Second World War , his family moved to Bavaria . Mosch attended high school in Traunstein and studied law and political science at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . In 1958 he began his professional career in the Bavarian administration. First he worked for the district offices in Mühldorf am Inn and Dachau . He then moved to the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior in Munich , where he was responsible for press work and cooperation between the ministry and the Bavarian state parliament for ten years . From 1973 to 1975 he was the vice-president of the government of Upper Bavaria behind Adam Deinlein and from February 1, 1975 to October 31, 1995, he was the district president of Middle Franconia .

As such, he was ex officio chairman of the Historical Association for Middle Franconia, which was founded in 1830 . He reissued The Memoirs of Karl Heinrich Ritters von Lang (Palm and Enke, Erlangen 1984). In addition, since 1983 he was chairman of the board of trustees of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg . Since 1977 he was district chairman of Middle Franconia of the Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgräberfürsorge , four years chairman and then honorary chairman of the regional association of Bavaria.

In 1963 he married Marion Countess von Walderdorff (* 1936), the youngest of three children of Wilderich Graf von Walderdorff (1899–1969) and Irmgard geb. Baroness of Berlichingen-Jagsthausen (1905–1992). Heinrich von Mosch died on October 20, 2014, a few days before his 84th birthday.
