Anton von Aretin (administrative lawyer)

Anton Freiherr von Aretin (born August 8, 1847 in Haidenburg , † April 27, 1921 in Munich ) was a Bavarian administrative lawyer.

Life

Anton came from the Aretin family . He was a son of the Reichstag member Peter Karl von Aretin and his wife Franziska, born von Gumppenberg (1823-1858). His older brother Ludwig was a member of the Reichstag.

After Beusch the Pagerie studied Aretin from August 1865 at the University of Munich Law , adopted in 1870 as a second lieutenant of the militia at war with France and it joined in 1872 in the Bavarian civil service . From 1890 to 1893 he served as District Officer of the district of Berchtesgaden operates. By 1895 he was promoted to major in the Landwehr cavalry in the Bavarian Army . From 1907 to 1917 he was regional president of the Upper Palatinate with the title of excellence .

Aretin was a landowner in Münchsdorf , treasurer and commander of the Order of Merit of the Bavarian Crown .

He had been married to Maria Anna Princess von der Leyen and zu Hohengeroldseck (1857-1936) since May 1882 and had two sons and three daughters with her.
