Max von Pracher

Joseph Karl Ignaz Pracher Pracher , from 1884 von Pracher , (born December 9, 1819 in Straubing , † September 1, 1888 in Regensburg ) was a Bavarian administrative officer .

Life

Pracher graduated from high school in Munich in 1837. After studying law in Munich , he entered the Bavarian state services. On behalf of King Ludwig I, Pracher looked after artists he had brought to Munich and was also active in the Munich Art Association. From 1856 he was a councilor, from 1862 a ministerial advisor in the Ministry of Culture. In 1868 he became district president in the Upper Palatinate and Regensburg. He held this office until his death.

His son was Ferdinand von Pracher , former district president in Lower Bavaria.
