Albert Stenglein

Albert Stenglein (born August 10, 1869 in Bayreuth , † February 21, 1935 in Munich ) was a German ministerial official , politician ( BVP ) and from 1925 to 1935 President of the Bavarian Supreme Audit Office .

Life

After graduating from Ludwigsgymnasium in Munich, he studied law in Munich and Strasbourg from 1887 to 1891 . After he had passed the legal state bankruptcy in 1894 , he became an accessist in the accounting office of the government of Upper Bavaria in 1895 . From 1898 to 1913 he was employed in changing positions in the governments of Upper Bavaria and Swabia . From 1909 he was senior government and from 1913 Ministerialrat in the Bavarian Ministry of Finance . From 1918 to 1925 he was a permanent commissioner at the Bayerische Staatsbank in Nuremberg . In 1925 he was appointed President of the Bavarian Supreme Audit Office and died in office in 1935.

On behalf of Kurt Eisner and Robert Piloty , Stenglein was involved in drafting the constitution of the Free State of Bavaria in 1918 . Stenglein was also state commissioner at the Bavarian food agency, a member of the regional cultural pension commission and a member of the supervisory board of Rhein-Main-Donau AG .

Since his studies he has been a member of the Academic Choral Society in Munich .
