Heinz Fischer-Heidlberger

Heinz Fischer-Heidlberger (born June 5, 1952 in Buchen , Odenwald ) was President of the Bavarian Supreme Audit Office from July 2004 to June 2016 .

career

Fischer-Heidlberger studied law at the University of Marburg and the University of Würzburg from 1973 to 1978 . After completing his legal traineeship in Schweinfurt and Würzburg, he was a consultant in the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior in the municipal department and in the ministerial office from 1981 to 1983. The doctorate to Dr. jur. utr. took place in 1983 at the University of Würzburg.

From 1984 to 1998 he was in the Bavarian State Chancellery

  • Personal advisor to the Bavarian Prime Minister.
  • Office manager of the head of the State Chancellery
  • Head of Policy Department as well
  • Head of the Department of Economic, Science, Transport and Environmental Policy

From January 1999 to June 2004 he was head of the Bavarian State Ministry for Environment, Health and Consumer Protection .

From July 1, 2004 to June 30, 2016 he was President of the Bavarian Supreme Audit Office.

Since 2007 he has been a member of the commission for determining the financial needs of broadcasters , of which he has been chairman since December 1, 2009 . In February 2017 he was re-elected as chairman.
