The canton Plouha (Breton canton Plouha ) is a French canton in the arrondissements of Guingamp and Saint-Brieuc , in the department of Côtes-d'Armor and in the region of Brittany ; its main town is Plouha .
history
The canton was created on February 15, 1790. From 1801 to 2015, five municipalities belonged to the canton of Plouha. With the reorganization of the cantons in France, the number of communes rose to 18. Of the previous 5 communes, 3 moved to other cantons. A new addition was 9 municipalities of the canton Lanvollon , six municipalities in the canton of Étables-sur-Mer and 1 municipality in the canton of Pontrieux added.

In the first ballot on March 22, 2015, none of the five voting pairs achieved an absolute majority. In the runoff election on March 29, 2015, Valérie Rumiano (LR) / Thierry Simelière (UDI) won against Chantal Delugin / Loïc Raoult ( PS ) with a share of the vote of 52.03% (turnout: 56.95%).
