The canton Tréguier (Breton Landreger ) is a French canton in the Arrondissement Lannion , in the Département Côtes-d'Armor and in the region of Brittany ; its main town is Tréguier .
history
The canton was established on February 15, 1790. From 1801 to 2015, ten communities belonged to the canton of Tréguier. With the reorganization of the cantons in France, the number of communes rose to 22. In addition to the previous communes of the old canton Tréguier, all 7 communes of the canton Lézardrieux and 5 of the 11 communes of the canton La Roche-Derrien were added.

In the first ballot on March 22, 2015, none of the five voting pairs achieved an absolute majority. In the runoff election on March 29, 2015, Pierrick Gouronnec / Isabelle Nicolas (both PS) won against Patricia Le Goas / Didier Rogard (both DVD ) with 54.36% of the votes (turnout: 55.98%).
