Pleubian Town Hall

Pleubian ( Breton Pleuvihan ) is a commune with 2,322 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Côtes-d'Armor in the region of Brittany . It is part of the Lannion arrondissement and the canton of Tréguier . The residents refer to themselves as pleubiannais (es) .

Pleubian is east of the Côte de Granit Rose in the far north of Brittany on the English Channel . Pleubian is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lanmodez in the east, Pleumeur-Gautier in the south and Kerbors in the west.

In the north-east of the municipality in the English Channel lies the headland Sillon de Talbert , which is 3.2 km long and an average of only 35 m wide. It is made of stone and pebbles and was created by the opposing currents of the Trieux and Jaudy rivers . Since 2006 it has been protected as a nature reserve.
