Plounévez-Moëdec ( Breton : Plounevez-Moedeg ) is a French municipality with 1458 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Côtes-d'Armor in the region of Brittany ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Lannion and the canton of Plestin-les-Grèves (until 2015: canton of Plouaret ). The inhabitants are called Plounévéziens .

Plounévez-Moëdec is located about 50 kilometers west of Saint-Brieuc . Plounévez-Moëdec is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Plouaret and Le Vieux-Marche in the north, Trégrom in the northeast, Belle-Isle-en-Terre in the east, Loc-Envel in the south and southeast, Loguivy-Plougras in the south and southwest, Plounérin in the west and Lanvellec in the northwest.
The National Route 12 runs through the municipality .
